About Jade
I’m a French tutor with over four years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies. I specialize in helping high school and university students who struggle with grammar and essay writing. My teaching style is creative, patient, and designed to make learning feel less overwhelming. My teaching approach in French focuses on building strong communication skills while making students confident in real-life conversations. I start with a mix of grammar basics, pronunciation practice, and everyday vocabulary so learners have a solid foundation. Once that is in place, we move into conversational fluency through role-plays, dialogues, and listening exercises based on real situations.
I include cultural immersion by introducing French music, films, traditions, and simple literature to help students understand the language beyond textbooks. Accent reduction is an important part of my lessons, where I guide students through proper mouth placement, rhythm, and intonation. I also offer grammar coaching in an easy-to-follow way, breaking difficult rules into simple steps.
For students preparing for exams or academic work, I provide structured lessons, past papers, writing practice, and personalized feedback to help them achieve top results. I support learners who aim for high-level accuracy in essays, translations, and oral exams by refining their language skills with care and detail. Each lesson is designed to fit the student’s goals, pace, and learning style.
