About Thomas
I received a double master's from the University of Texas last spring, and currently work as a government consultant. My education has granted me considerable experience in writing and research, and moreover the ability to communicate complicated ideas in simple ways. I'm trying my hand as a tutor as I currently work east coast hours, leaving quite a bit of time on my hands. While my academic passions lie in Russian history and international relations, my personal life consists more of basketball, fantasy football, and movie marathons. I consider myself a jack of all trades, and look forward to connecting with new students from all walks of life.

I take a progress approach to teaching, focusing on a succession of small tasks leading to a larger accomplishment. My goal is to get students truly engaged with the subject, whether through greater context, connections to their personal lives, or simply great story telling.
