I have 12 years of experience teaching guitar, with a special focus on building confidence and creativity in adult learners. My teaching style is flexible and supportive, designed to meet you where you are and help you reach your musical goals. Together, we set practical, achievable targets that keep you motivated and progressing. I hold a Diploma of Music with a Guitar Specialization, which helps me bring a strong musical foundation to every lesson. I believe music is a lifelong journey, and it’s never too late to explore your creative side. Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time or returning after years away, I encourage self-expression and personal growth through music. We start with solid basics like chords, scales, and rhythm, then move into more creative ideas that bring your playing to life. I encourage you to experiment with sound and emotion to create music that truly connects with listeners. We work on technique and feel, but also on understanding the music’s story and mood. This helps you play with meaning and power, not just notes. I support you in building confidence and skill at your own pace. Together, we use practical exercises and songs that inspire you.
