As an observant Jew immersed in daily Torah and Rabbinical studies, I seamlessly integrate traditional language mastery with modern usage. Beginning with mastery of the Hebrew alphabet using tried-and-true resources, I then integrate ulpan-level textbooks to facilitate practical language acquisition.

Perfect! It is a wonderful experience learning Hebrew from Rafael. Learning the language of the Hebrew scriptures from the people who were entrusted with the oracles of God, adds a compelling element that would likely be lost in an academic setting. Not only do you learn Hebrew, but also the culture surrounding it, as you observe the life of one who lives the lifestyle of the Orthodox-Jewish Religion. You also get intriguing insights into various teachings of the rabbinic sages as relevant texts come to his mind during the lesson. Rafael does not just teach Hebrew, but it is apart of his daily life. He reads the ancient language and speaks the modern version with his contemporaries. His ability to teach you biblical Hebrew, modern Hebrew and Rabbinic Hebrew makes him a great teacher for years of learning.
