Hi! I’m Nurul, a native Indonesian speaker with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science. With a strong background in communication, customer service, and education administration, I bring both clarity and patience to every lesson I teach. As a tutor with a background in Communication Science, I focus on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and grow. My teaching method blends conversational practice, structured grammar, cultural insights, and real-life scenarios to help learners use Bahasa Indonesia naturally and effectively.
Each lesson typically starts with a quick review of previous materials, followed by a focus on vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure. Then, we practice speaking and listening through themed dialogues or role-play. I also include Indonesian cultural context to help students understand not just the language, but how it’s used in daily life. Lessons always end with a short recap and practical homework or self-practice tasks.
What sets me apart is my ability to adapt lessons to each learner’s goals—whether they’re beginners, travelers, expats, or professionals. I am patient, communicative, and genuinely passionate about helping others understand Bahasa Indonesia from both a linguistic and cultural perspective. My lessons are especially ideal for adult learners (18+) at beginner to intermediate levels, and I’m happy to customize the pace and content based on student needs.
