About Lara

I am a Master student for International Business, I have had many different jobs since I have been 13. I have specialised in Supply Chain Management and have thought multiple classes within that realm. During university I myself have studied the language of Dutch and Spanish to step out of my comfort zone and learn something different to be able to talk to friends or just at the supermarket. Being a native German speaker I would like for people to have the opportunity to have someone they can speak German too and learn the in's and out's of the language.

About the lesson

I base my classes on the student needs. If that person already knows some German and wants to become better at conversations we can set up different role-plays for instance or other hypothetical situations. If the student is completely knew to the language I will start with the beginners level which consist of the basic phrases and basic tenses. Most importantly it should be fun to learn a new language.

Rao is a great student! Eager to learn every week and curious. She is able to move out of her comfort zone to learn more and we have a lot of fun during our classes. For instance by playing games to increase oral language use.
