About Quinn

My teaching methodology blends creativity, cultural sensitivity, and motivation to help students develop both technical skills and artistic expression on the guitar. I believe every student has a unique musical voice, and my lessons are tailored to nurture their individual style while building a strong foundation in technique, theory, and improvisation. I use an interactive and hands-on approach, incorporating real-world musical examples, ear training, and composition exercises. Whether exploring jazz, blues, rock, or fingerstyle, I emphasize musical storytelling, emotional connection, and self-expression through the instrument. My culturally sensitive approach ensures students appreciate diverse musical traditions while developing a well-rounded skill set. Beyond guitar, I can teach music theory, songwriting, and improvisation, guiding students to apply their knowledge creatively. By fostering a motivating and encouraging environment, I help students stay engaged, build confidence, and enjoy the learning process while progressing at their own pace.
