My guitar teaching approach blends creativity with solid technique to help students express themselves fully through music. I focus on developing core skills while also exploring the art of musical storytelling. Lessons cover songwriting, composition, improvisation, and arranging, giving you tools to craft music that feels true to you. We dive into dynamic contrast, learning how to shape sound with soft, intimate passages and bold, powerful moments. I guide students in mastering tension and release, creating music that keeps listeners engaged from the first note to the last. Theme development is another key part of my lessons, helping you build strong musical ideas and carry them through a song or performance. I work closely with students who want to shine on stage or create music with a clear emotional message. Whether you’re writing heartfelt ballads, high-energy rock anthems, or inspiring pieces for your community, I tailor the lessons to match your vision. I also offer guidance on stage presence, set building, and recording techniques so you can share your music with confidence. Every student brings a unique voice, and I make it my goal to help you find and refine yours. We use real-world examples, jam sessions, and creative challenges to keep learning fresh and exciting. I provide feedback that’s honest but encouraging, pushing you to grow while celebrating your progress.

With 7 years of dedicated teaching experience, I specialize in guiding students through songwriting, composition, and artist development. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Guitar Emphasis, I combine technical skill with creative exploration to help musicians grow. My lessons focus on more than just playing guitar — we work on crafting original songs that reflect your unique voice.

I’m passionate about helping students discover and refine their personal style. Together, we explore melody, harmony, and lyric writing in ways that feel authentic and inspiring. For those ready to take their music further, I provide hands-on guidance in recording your own tracks.

Over the years, I’ve mentored aspiring singer-songwriters and independent musicians, helping them shape their sound and artistic identity. Whether you dream of performing live, producing an EP, or just writing songs you’re proud of, I tailor lessons to fit your goals.
