About Zion

With more than 14 years of experience teaching Piano, I have guided students from different age groups and backgrounds toward becoming confident musicians. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals through engaging, structured, and personalized lessons.

My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, flexibility, and continuous improvement. I believe every student learns differently, so I carefully adapt my lessons to suit individual learning styles, interests, and goals.

Students in my classes learn piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, finger techniques, and performance preparation. I also help students develop productive practice habits that encourage long-term growth.

Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and music reading. These complementary skills strengthen musical understanding and improve confidence during performances.

My goal is to make learning Piano enjoyable, practical, and rewarding. Through personalized guidance and positive encouragement, I help students develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is built on communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and continuous learning. I believe every piano lesson should help students grow not only as musicians but also as confident and disciplined individuals.

I begin by understanding each student's interests, previous experience, and learning objectives. Based on this, I create a personalized lesson plan that allows steady progress at a comfortable pace. Students first learn posture, finger positioning, note reading, rhythm, and music theory before moving to advanced techniques.

As students develop their skills, they learn scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, expression, sight reading, and performance techniques. I encourage students to understand music deeply rather than simply playing the correct notes.

Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, accompaniment, musical interpretation, and exploring different styles of music. Students become confident performers while developing their own musical expression.

I also teach related subjects including keyboard techniques, music theory, rhythm training, ear training, performance preparation, and music appreciation. These supporting subjects provide a complete musical education.

My goal is to make every lesson meaningful, enjoyable, and motivating while helping students achieve long-term musical success through consistent practice and positive guidance.
