About Joan
Born in Spain, I moved to do my 2 last years of high school in the UK, with A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Technology.
Afterwards, I pursued a degree in Material Science and Engineering at Swansea University, where I graduated with a First Class Honors. Once I finished my undergraduate studies, I moved to the US to get my Master's in Computational Material Science, receiving a 3.7 GPA and the Award for the best Master’s thesis at Cornell University.
Ever since, teaching such concepts became a passion of mine.

The primary focus of my lectures would be in real-life applications of the physical and chemical theoretical laws taught in class. Due to my UK academic curriculum, I focused strongly on Mathematics, Physics, and Technology as well as my further education in Material Science and Engineering degree.
