About Lynda
My name is Lynda, and I’m a certified Mathematics and Physics educator with over 10 years of teaching experience. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physics Education, along with international teaching certifications, including Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and IGCSE specialization. I’ve helped students at various academic levels—both in the classroom and online—excel in exams like WAEC, IGCSE, SAT, and more. My lessons are well-structured, engaging, and tailored to individual learning needs. I take pride in being patient, professional, and fully committed to helping each student build confidence, master difficult topics, and reach their academic goals. As a passionate Mathematics and Physics tutor, my teaching method is centered on making learning engaging, personalized, and goal-focused. My lessons are structured to build confidence, critical thinking, and long-term retention.
A typical lesson with me begins with a quick review or warm-up activity to activate prior knowledge. We then move into a clear explanation of the topic using visual aids and examples, followed by guided practice where we solve problems together. Students then apply their knowledge independently while I provide feedback, and we close with a summary and reinforcement activities.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my strong academic background, including a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics Education, along with certifications like QTS, TRCN, and IGCSE. I have over ten years of experience, a deep understanding of curriculum standards, and a patient, supportive approach that helps students thrive. I also creatively integrate tools like animations, simulations, and even coding to make lessons fun and effective.
