With over 8 years of experience teaching mathematics, I bring a unique blend of analytical rigor and artistic curiosity to my lessons. I hold an MSc in Statistics, but my passion lies in applying mathematical thinking to creative fields. My teaching focuses on helping students in the creative arts and design master mathematical problem-solving in ways that directly enhance their practice.
From using parametric equations to generate mesmerizing visual forms to applying Fourier analysis in digital sound synthesis, I explore how math shapes artistic expression. I also delve into geometric transformations and tessellations to teach the foundations of pattern creation. These concepts aren’t just theoretical—I guide students through applying them using tools like Processing and Blender.
Whether you’re a design student curious about code-based art or an artist seeking to add mathematical depth to your work, I tailor each session to your goals. I love showing students how equations can dance, patterns can evolve, and formulas can sing. We’ll decode math not as a set of rules, but as a language of structure, motion, and beauty.
