About Eric
I am a data engineer that has always enjoyed teaching and math. I have coached for 3 schools' MathCounts teams in the past and obtained a Master's degree in mathematics.
Additionally, I have worked with kids of most ages and helped them get the confidence they need to succeed in the world of math.

I like to start by evaluating where a student is at with the subject matter. This is typically done by giving them a quiz/test that I watch them take to see what areas they struggle with as well as their strengths.
Once I have a basic assessment for the student, I craft lessons aimed at filling any gaps as well as strengthening areas of strength. Additionally, I prepare supplemental materials for active learning subjects. Typically, this involves walking through sample problems followed by having the student walk me through a very similar problem.
I have helped students of all ages prepare for Arithmetic, Geometry, SATs, Calculus, Differential Equations, and more. I believe math is just like any other skill and with practice, you can get better. I am here to guide that practice and make it more fun.
