About Mila
Posture matters. I prioritize your physical comfort to ensure your playing remains sustainable and agile. We focus on intonation and ear training until the notes resonate with clarity.
After each lesson, you will receive free bowing and posture reference notes to guide your independent practice. Returning learners find that my MMus training helps them resolve long-standing technical habits. Beginners discover that basic bowing technique becomes intuitive through steady, logical corrections. My instructions are clear and direct, ensuring your progress is grounded in solid mechanics.

Technique is often considered the enemy of artistry, yet it remains the very foundation of true expression. Having trained at the Conservatoire, I draw upon 6 years of experience to guide 87 students through the complexities of the violin. My background includes rigorous orchestral playing and a deep understanding of bowing technique. Working professionals and teens benefit from my patient instruction in spiccato and staccato bowing.
I find that tuning by ear and mastering music theory brings a profound sense of satisfaction to the practice. It is a delight to witness students refine their intonation over time.
