About Jefferson
Teaching French offers a specific window into how you interact with a new culture through language. You will see that my 4 years of experience allow me to simplify complex grammar into actionable steps for daily conversation.
We focus heavily on pronunciation, specifically targeting liaison and nasal sounds to help you speak with greater accuracy. Our sessions also cover travel French, business French, and practical vocabulary building to expand your range. You will participate in role play and dialogue practice while utilizing listening exercises to sharpen your comprehension. It is truly enjoyable to watch students gain the ability to communicate fluently in a real world setting.

Your first session involves a diagnostic assessment to identify your current proficiency level. I confess that the initial hurdle of speaking aloud is often the hardest part for any new learner. We utilize mock DELF papers with detailed feedback to track your progress toward specific language goals. My background includes a Master of Music which informs the disciplined, precise structure I apply to language acquisition.
4 years of experience have refined my ability to clarify tricky phonetic concepts for every student. You will find this method provides clarity. We keep our practice sessions focused on practical application and clear communication. You will find that our sessions emphasize a supportive environment for developing your voice.
