About Bogdan

I'm a professional performer singing and acting around the world for the past ten years. I've performed everything from opera, to musical theatre, to jazz, and my own music at indie festivals.

Every single voice is unique, and though certain concepts carry over, I approach each student differently. The most important thing for me as a teacher is to push your limits in a healthy way, and guiding you to understand your voice and what you must do to harness it's glorious power.

About the lesson

Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Literature - whether you want to feel more confident singing in the shower, or are preparing for the next round of Met Auditions, I've got the tools to take your singing abilities to the next level.

My methodology revolves around breathing. We start with a consistent and healthy support system, and build on that with effortless vocalization. Bit by bit, through an individualized approach, we release tension. The end goal is to help you discover the power and beauty in YOUR voice, and help you sing effortlessly with confidence.

A typical voice lesson will begin with a brief stretch and some breathing exercises, followed by warmups selected specifically to reinforce a concept we're going to work on to improve your singing technique. Then we'll work on selected repertoire so that you have a solid foundation of songs you can sing well.
