About Megan
I am Megan H. and I have been a registered nurse for seven years. I just graduated and received my license as a family nurse practitioner in 2024. I have a passion for teaching. I believe that everyone has their own way of learning and not all classrooms are accommodating. I recently left active duty service in the US Navy for the reserves, but part of my job was to train new corpsmen and nurses coming into the fleet. Seeing you succeed helps me learn as well by continuing to ground the foundations of healthcare. I have also worked in many settings to include; med-surg, ED, postpartum/mother-baby, ICU, PACU, outpatient orthopedics and podiatry, and oral maxillofacial surgery. Having hands-on skills in different areas allows you to connect what you learn to real-life situations and that helps enhance learning. I do not believe in the word "can't" and neither should you. ***All lessons will take place via Zoom***

I recently graduated with my MSN as a FNP from Marymount University. I tutor for nursing classes/subjects at the undergraduate and graduate level. My teaching methods are made to fit your learning type. I personally am a visual learner but that is not for everyone, therefore I adapt and cater to your needs. I understand how hard nursing school can be and how overwhelming the content is. I can offer notes and diagrams that I created to study as well as verbal insights. My goal is to help build our future nurses.
