About Gabrielle
I am a 23-year-old French student who did her entire university course in Anglo-Saxon countries. I graduated with a Bachelor of Philosophy, Political Science, Economics and Sociology from Trinity College Dublin and I am currently finishing my Masters of Philosophy at Edinburgh University (online because of the Covid, hence my presence in Bordeaux) . I gave French lessons to Irish adults for two years, beginner and intermediate level. On top of that, I myself was a private English tutor for five years when I was younger. I am therefore very familiar with the structure of a course and I know how to adapt to the needs and requests of the student. I can give English lessons at all levels, children and adults. I also offer philosophy courses (awakening / initiation / high school / higher levels) and writing courses for beginner level (narrative structure and character development). I have two novels to my credit, one written in French and one written in English, the first of which is in the hands of a publishing house.

For a one-hour English class, the session always begins with ten or fifteen minutes of free conversation, with the necessary stops to explain a temporal form, discover a vocabulary word, etc. The body of the session is adapted according to the needs, desires, and objectives of the student. It can relate to written or oral comprehension (text / video / podcast to be chosen according to the student's interests), grammar, written production, oral production, or a combination of several of these exercises. The end of the session is devoted to the summary of the words learned and / or the concepts discussed and to the planning of the next session.
