About Alda
Hello! My name is Alda and I am a recent university graduate who is passionate about maths and physics. Throughout my academic journey, I have come to realise that I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping others understand these subjects.
I believe that every student has the potential to excel in these subjects, regardless of their background or ability. As a tutor, I am patient, kind and approachable. I understand that these subjects can be challenging, which is why I strive to create a fun and engaging learning environment that makes maths and physics easy to understand.
Apart from my academic interests, I love to dance and I am currently learning Spanish. These hobbies have taught me the value of persistence and hard work.
I look forward to working with you!

As a tutor, my approach is centred on the needs and learning style of each individual student. I believe that every student has their own unique way of learning and understanding, so I begin by getting to know my students and assessing their strengths and areas of improvement. This allows me to create a personalised learning plan that is tailored to their specific needs.
My teaching methodology involves using a variety of teaching techniques such as interactive discussions, hands-on activities, visual aids, and practice exercises. I aim to make the learning process fun and engaging, while also ensuring that my students are gaining a solid understanding of the subject matter.
The typical length will typically be an hour long. However, I am flexible and can adjust the lesson length to suit the needs of my students.
As for my qualifications and experience, I have a degree in Physics and have a strong background in maths. In addition to my academic qualifications, I have teaching assistant experiences in primary schools. My lessons are suitable for students in ks1, ks2, ks3 and GCSE. Whether it's helping a struggling student catch up or providing additional support to an already high-achieving student, I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their goals and succeed academically.
