About Elise
My lessons focus on the core principles of energy, explained in a simple and structured way. I break down thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, and gas laws into clear ideas that are easy to follow. Through engaging analogies and practical examples, we explore how energy moves and transforms in everyday systems. This helps make difficult topics feel familiar and understandable.
I provide consistent feedback so students can correct mistakes early and grow with confidence. This approach supports Experimentalists and Inventors in mastering key concepts they need for deeper exploration. Together, we turn abstract theories into ideas you can see, feel, and apply.
My goal is to help every student develop a strong foundation in energy transformations. With the right support, you’ll be able to excel in physics and apply these concepts to your projects, studies, and creative ideas.

I am a Physics tutor with over 10 years of experience and an MSc in Quantum Physics. My work is driven by a deep passion for the physics behind climate modelling and atmospheric dynamics. I’m fascinated by the way radiative transfer, atmospheric convection, ocean currents, and feedback loops interact to shape our climate. These systems are intricate, but they reveal powerful insights about how our planet behaves.
In my teaching, I break down these complex processes into clear, manageable ideas. I guide students through the physical foundations that drive global climate change, helping them connect theory with real-world climate behaviour. We explore how energy moves through the atmosphere and oceans, and why small variations can lead to major climate shifts. My goal is to make advanced concepts accessible, engaging, and meaningful.
I support learners at every step, encouraging curiosity while building strong analytical skills. With each lesson, students develop confidence in understanding both fundamental physics and climate science.
