About Phoebe
Hello! My name's Phoebe, I'm 28 years old and am a bit of a psychology nerd...
I graduated from my master's in 2018 then travelled Australia whilst working for a large NGO as a crisis caseworker before moving back home in 2021. I'm passionate about psychology, mental health, social and holistic sciences, and want to teach so that I can share that passion!
I'm a spoken word artist, poet and writer. In my spare time, I love to cook, practice yoga, dance and read. Catch me at gigs/festivals in the summer!

I like to start my lessons by understanding my student's learning styles through the VARK questionnaire so that I can cater the lessons to their needs. Understanding learning style is the most crucial step before we start our sessions, as Einstein says "you can't teach a fish how to climb a tree"!
My regular classes are an hour long, I think this is ample time to get started but not overwork ourselves. However, I've also taught 2 hour-long sessions with a 10-minute break in between.
I've taught all ages. I worked in nurseries, primary schools, and secondary schools, and taught classes to adults with disabilities. So, I'm comfortable teaching anyone! In terms of my speciality, my classes are aimed at 16+.
