About Alfonso
During one year, I worked as a professor of the subject of Experimental Biochemistry (theoretical-practical) of the major of Biological Pharmaceutical Chemistry in the Faculty of Chemistry of the UNAM. Our students improved their understanding of complex concepts about genetics and biochemistry, facilitating their learning process in other subjects attended during their academic stay. On the other hand, I also worked as a professor of science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in a preparation center for the examination of COMIPEMS. My classes were in front of the board for groups of between 25 and 30 students, having up to approximately a total of 200 students. Working with a great team of teachers of other subjects, we managed to more than 50% of our students obtained above 90 successes in their examination and they obtained a site in one of their first 3 options.

I recently completed my master's degree in biochemistry. My research experience has allowed me to know in depth, both theoretically and experimentally, areas such as genetics, biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology. In addition, because I studied Biological Pharmaceutical Chemistry, I have the virtue of visualizing all these disciplines from molecular approach. My classes are directed to all public, but given my teaching experience, mainly for students of secondary, preparatory, bachelor and postgraduate. My virtues as a teacher are: patience, vocation, passion, empathy, commitment and constant learning. The way I explain much of the molecular basis governing our lives is through passion and good humor, making the learning process a fun and enjoyable moment. I facilitate the understanding of complex concepts through their comparison with much of our everyday events; all of the above, through the use of a large base of bibliographic sources, slides and videos that facilitate our learning.
