I like to make lessons more personal, tailoring my approach and communications to the particular student. I prefer working with a small group or with one student at a time in order to make sure they're each getting the attention they deserve.

Background

I am a recent graduate from the College of Charleston with a Master's degree in environmental science. I've tutored for several years, as well as taught at Roper Mountain Science center and the Greenville Zoo's education center, running several camps.

I am recent graduate with an MS in Environmental Studies with strong, demonstrated skillsets in environmental sciences, project controls, written/verbal communication, computer literacy, and sustainability. I have a passion for protecting the environment and seek career opportunities in the fields of environmental science, sustainability, urban planning, energy consulting, environmental health and safety (EHS), and/or corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Also earned Urban and Regional Planning Certificate. Focus in energy studies. Conducted research as thesis project with Dr. Wes Burnett and via an internship with the Southeastern Wind Coalition regarding wind power installations and imports in Kentucky. Served as the Secretary for the board of the Environmental Studies Program.

Minor in Political Science. Studied abroad in Bonn, Germany at the University of Bonn in a Renewable Energy Policy program and conducted research on biomass production and sustainable building.
