About William

My background as an educator goes back to when I was 13 years old and starting teaching skiing to 3 and 4 year olds. Throughout my teenage years I continued to learn about teaching via the professional organization that develops ski instructors. I have always been active in direct education, having been a clinical preceptor at each of my healthcare careers.

About the lesson

My history in healthcare has been varied, having worked in both the prehospital and in hospital settings since 2003. I started my career as a ski patroller and have continually worked to climb the “ladder” of the healthcare system. I have been an EMT/Paramedic, critical care transport RN, ICU RN and now finally working in the anesthesia field as a CRNA. I am pursing my doctorate in nursing practice and hope to be able to teach current students just some of the study habits that I have developed over the years. I thoroughly enjoy difficult subjects and making them easier to understand. Anatomy, physiology, chemistry and physics are some of my favorite topics to read and study.
