About Berniece
Calculus clicked for me when I stopped memorizing formulas and started visualizing the motion of graphs. I spent hours sketching curves until the chain rule felt like second nature.
My 4 years of experience include 49 students who needed help with integration techniques and definite integrals. I hold a Master of Science in Statistics from UC Berkeley. My process involves looking at the applications of derivatives and area and volume to see how they fit into the bigger picture. I guide you through optimization problems and related rates so that integration by parts and implicit differentiation make sense.
