About Nat
I am a Spanish educator of over 30 years in the classroom having taught all levels of Spanish from elementary to high school, from levels one to the AP level. I have lived in and traveled in Spanish-speaking countries for over six years I am very familiar with both the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world and I know the language as though I were a native speaker. The focus of my work is not the curriculum, but the student(s) that I serve as their Spanish teacher. My student-centered teaching style promotes and prioritizes student engagement, interest, and mastery of the language.

My lessons are individualized for each of my students based on their learning style, language learning background, and level of confidence and ability to develop proficiency. Students receive lessons that center on topics that interest them. Learning includes the practice and mastery of speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish. Formative assessments regularly measure students' performance and help reassess areas for growth. Lessons promote and strengthen students' ability and confidence to use the language.
