About Sofia
Hi, I’m Sofia! I’m a high school senior, fluent in three languages, and I’ve experienced firsthand how challenging it can be to learn a new language. When I first moved to the U.S., my confidence in English was low, but I learned how to become comfortable with the process of learning, and I want to help you do the same. With a 5 on the AP Spanish exam and a passion for teaching, I bring both experience and empathy to my lessons. I focus on making you feel confident and comfortable while mastering Spanish, and I’ll work with you to find what learning style works best for you. No matter where you’re starting, I’ll be there to guide and support you!

As a native Spanish speaker who scored a 5 on the AP exam, I understand how overwhelming it can be, so I create lessons that are relaxed, engaging, and personalized to your pace. I mix conversation, culture, and practical exercises to help you build confidence and truly understand Spanish, not just memorize it. No matter your level, we’ll work together to make you feel comfortable and excited about learning, whether you’re preparing for AP Spanish or just want to improve your skills. Everyone learns differently, and I’ll adapt my approach to what works best for you!
