About Isolde
Soy tutor de español con más de 3 años de experiencia y tengo una Maestría en Estudios de Traducción (español-inglés), especializada en comunicación en salud. Me enfoco en enseñar español a profesionales como enfermeros, cuidadores, trabajadores sociales y otros ayudantes comunitarios. Mis clases están diseñadas para mejorar la interacción con pacientes, el manejo de terminología médica y el lenguaje necesario en situaciones de emergencia. Trabajo con lecciones prácticas y basadas en escenarios reales, para que aprendas el idioma que realmente vas a usar en tu día a día laboral. Además, doy mucha importancia a la comunicación compasiva, porque sé que en el cuidado de la salud no solo se trata de palabras, sino de empatía y confianza. Mi método combina vocabulario técnico con expresiones culturales que facilitan una mejor conexión con los pacientes. Entiendo las dificultades que puede traer aprender un nuevo idioma en un entorno profesional, por eso ofrezco un ambiente de aprendizaje paciente y respetuoso. También abordo aspectos culturales para que puedas comunicarte de forma efectiva y respetuosa en diferentes contextos. My teaching approach focuses on making Spanish easy, fun, and useful for real life. I believe language is best learned by speaking and practicing everyday situations. I include subjects like informal speech, texting language, slang, and common phrases you hear in daily conversations. This helps students sound natural and confident when they talk. We also work on building social confidence so you can join conversations with ease. I use a mix of listening, speaking, reading, and writing exercises that fit your goals. We practice common scenarios like shopping, meeting new people, or ordering food. I understand the challenges newcomers and immigrants face, so I create a supportive space where you feel comfortable to ask questions and make mistakes. My lessons focus on practical language skills to help you settle in and succeed. I encourage learning through real-life examples and role-playing. You will learn useful vocabulary and expressions that native speakers use every day. My goal is to help you speak Spanish naturally and comfortably, so you can connect with people and feel part of the community.
