About Chloé

Hello!

My name is Chloé and I am currently a master's student in British Literature Research at the Sorbonne. I am particularly interested in the female character in the 18th century British novel.

I am also preparing to take the aggregation to become an English teacher in secondary (college / high school). So I know the college and high school programs and the expectations of language teachers in these classes, which is a plus to allow students to really progress in this subject. However, I can also completely teach students outside the curriculum, adults for example, in the context of work in a company, or travel project, or even just to refine its culture of English-speaking countries.

I worked in a high school as an AED, especially in boarding school, where I helped the students a lot, in English among others. This experience also allowed me to perfect my teaching methods; to see what works, and what doesn't, and to customize my methods for each one!

About the lesson

Whether you want to learn English to progress at school, to read in original language, to prepare for a trip, to have new opportunities at work etc ... this course is for you!

During the first lesson, we will test your level of English together and we will define your objectives.

By establishing your strengths and weaknesses during the first lesson, we will be able to work on your weaknesses with the help of your strengths and solve any language problem, to allow you to reach the level that you want.

I will base my lessons on subjects that YOU like, to allow pleasant and personalised learning. No more excuses not to study!

Since I am preparing for a teaching competition (Agrégation), I am aware of the college and high school programs (in France). The course can therefore evolve in the official programs guidelines.
