About Baptiste
I am a graduate student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) who has just finished his degree in mathematics, obtained at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. This school provides a varied core curriculum I also have an advanced level in physics, programming and algorithmics. I was assistant to professors of analysis and linear algebra during my second year in Lausanne. I supervised and answered questions from about twenty students each week during sessions dedicated to solving exercises. I spent a year abroad in England and therefore speak English fluently.

I approach the subject by trying to progressively increase the level of abstraction needed. I mostly try to explain to students through analogies or examples to get them to grasp the concept. Also, according to the preference of the student, I rely more on more visual approaches or more verbal.
