About Joan
I am a graduate student in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Barcelona, and I am currently following a master programme. My previous experience is mainly focused on teaching elementary and early high school students. However, I also possess the knowledge and methods to teach the content corresponding to the last years of high school.

My first goal or priority, in which I invest the greatest part of my attention, is to identify the needs of my students and the knowledge gaps that need to be addressed. With patience and perseverance, I strive to help my students on overcoming these gaps. At the same time, I have the goal that my students not only learn to solve the problems of the exams successfully, but that they also comprehend what the acquired tools can be used for. For me, the teaching process has been proven to be very satisfying: to get my students to pass the exams successfully and, if possible, to master a subject, thus gaining confidence in themselves.
