About Romina
I am a master student in mechanical engineering at University of Alberta. One of the reasons I chose mechanical engineering as my major was my passion for mathematics and physics in high school. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a teaching assistant for two years. Therefore, I have a great experience in preparing course materials, giving lectures and grading assignments and exams. Currently, I am working as a research assistant at University of Alberta. I can teach in both English and Farsi.

In my lessons, I will start by explaining each topic step by step in a clear way. Then, we will solve examples together to see if the student has learned the basics. The questions will gradually become harder as I explain each one. At the end, I will try to wrap up the lesson by giving a structured summary. Assignments will be given to the student to work on them until next session.
I will try my best to take into account each student's prior knowledge and work on each student's weakness. Therefore, the lessons' schedule may be different for different students because of their need or preferences.

I have known Romina since high school, where she consistently stood out as one of the top students, always hardworking and disciplined. During high school, she often helped others by explaining lesson summaries and solving questions, particularly in math and physics. After high school, she pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering, gaining a more advanced perspective on both subjects. Throughout her studies, she also excelled as a knowledgeable and patient TA, preparing well-structured course materials and clarifying complex topics. Given her strong academic background, teaching experience, and passion for helping others learn, I highly recommend her as a math and physics tutor.
