About Ffe
I am a student of Medieval History at the University of York. I graduated from UCL with a BA Scandinavian Studies and History in 2021 and since then have worked as a Museum Assistant at the Museum of Richmond. I am passionate about history and have enjoyed teaching it to visitors of the museum.
While I studied a wide variety of history at Undergraduate level, I am now researching identity in Icelandic Saga Literature for my master's dissertation.
When I am not studying myself, I enjoy spending time with my friends, reading Japanese literature and going on walks in the countryside.

I practice a student-centred teaching methodology, in which the student is encouraged to think independently about their subject and identify areas of interest, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. This will not only allow them to absorb knowledge more efficiently, but equip them with essential skills for independent study and further education.
Lessons are typically around one hour in length - long enough to delve into a topic, but short enough that my students can digest the knowledge effectively.
I am a Student Ambassador at my university and work with various age groups of children. I help them explore further education, engage them about their interests, and inspire a hunger for learning.
I can teach GCSE and A Level History to students. While covering material relevant to their modules, I can teach them the skills they need to complete essays and exams to a high level, thinking critically about the historiography, and truly participating in historical debate, which is very desirable to exam markers.
