Coming from a PCMB background, I transitioned to Economics with the motive of exploring the everyday challenges we face as individuals and as a society. The intersection of mathematics and society forms the foundation of economics, which fascinated me during my undergraduate studies at the prestigious Presidency College, Kolkata. I had the privilege of attending lectures by some of the world's renowned economists, whose teaching made me realize that economics is not only an engaging subject to learn but also an exciting one to teach, given its dynamic nature.
