Who I am?
Scholarship student of the Master in International Studies (Faculty of Social Sciences) of the Universidad de los Andes, specialist in Government and Territorial Management and Professional in International Business of the Universidad Santo Tomás.

My history with state tests:
In the 11th grade ICFES tests in 2016 I managed to obtain a result above the Ser Pilo Paga threshold (97th Percentile) and in the 2020 Saber Pro Test I obtained recognition from the Ministry of Education for obtaining one of the best results at the National level ( 100th percentile).

Ok, but: what is your teaching methodology like?
I am not the fashionable teacher who says: "The traditional way of teaching is obsolete", nor am I the one who affirms: "The traditional way of teaching is the most efficient way of transmitting knowledge". The scientific literature on Social Sciences teaching suggests that one of the best ways to teach children about these issues is the use of analogies and examples (Harrison et al, 2017). However, beyond the teaching method, it is important to motivate the student to arouse curiosity in these matters because, for example, a child will not learn a sport well if it does not attract their attention (If you see that the use of examples and analogies does work).

Very good and all but a better result in the ICFES is not achieved solely through analogies and examples.
Yes, you are right, this methodology is a key tool in the process to reach this end, the other fundamental component is knowing how to answer the exam, for this I base myself on the following elements:

1. What topics are usually asked at ICFES?
2. What is the logic that most questions usually have?
3. What are the "shells" that often confuse most students?
Curious fact: Usually the 4 answers are: One that is definitely not, another that makes a correct statement but that does not make much sense with the question, and two (among them the correct one) that seem to say the same thing but through semantic strategies manage to confuse the student by putting him in a 50/50 situation as if he were in Who wants to be a millionaire?" (Again you see that the examples do serve to understand hehe).
