About Ferenc

With nearly two decades of university-level teaching experience and a foundation built on the rigorous Eastern European tradition, Dr. Ferenc Cseszko is deeply passionate about mentoring the next generation of musicians. Having earned his Conservatory Diploma from the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary, followed by a Master of Music from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Dr. Cseszko combines world-class technique with a supportive, dedicated approach to education.

As a teacher and mentor, Dr. Cseszko’s greatest joy comes from guiding students toward their goals. His students have won regional and national competitions, earned acceptance into major universities and conservatories, and launched successful careers in professional orchestras, K–12 schools, and higher education.

An active and vibrant performer, Dr. Cseszko currently performs across the region with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Las Vegas Sinfonietta, Nevada Ballet Orchestra, Opera Las Vegas, Vegas City Opera, and leading touring artists. His distinguished career includes positions as Associate Professor of Violin/Viola and Director of Orchestras at the University of Idaho (2003–2018), Assistant Professor at Fort Hays State University (2000–2003), and Artist-in-Residence at Universidad Juan N. Corpas in Bogotá, Colombia (2003–2009). Beyond the university campus, he has shared his music through solo recitals, chamber performances, and masterclasses across Europe, the Americas, and beyond.

At our studio, every student receives personalized, top-tier instruction designed to nurture their unique musical journey. Students benefit from weekly individual lessons and regular performance opportunities, including at least two formal Studio Recitals each year, with additional recitals tailored to their progress and skill level.

For advancing musicians, we open doors to vibrant ensemble experiences—from youth orchestras and chamber music groups to prestigious competitions, masterclasses, and inspiring summer camps. Beyond weekly lessons, families enjoy complete peace of mind with unlimited, seven-day-a-week support for practice guidance, competition prep, instrument selection, and general musical advice.
