About Emilie

Hello, I am Emilie and I am a Masters student in Urbanism at the Academy of Architecture in Rotterdam, and I worked as an urban planner for the Municipality of Amsterdam. In my field and in my studies I work with Adobe programs every day. I have a lot of experience with Photoshop, editing photos, making presentations, professional documents and illustrations in Indesign and Illustrator. I and would like to help other people with learning the basic tools and possibilities of these programs. I could also teach you about hacks and shortcuts so that you can achieve professional results on projects.

About the lesson

My method of teaching is first to see what the student's knowledge of te software is. I would also have to see what his/her experience is, and what the purpose of these lessons are. We can then look at how we can teach you the basic skills of these programs and to provide you with information so you can learn as quickly as possible. These programs all look very similar if you know one program well, you will notice you learn the other programs a lot faster. I can tackle the lessons on program basis or project basis to see which skills you need to achieve the desired result.

Perfect! Emily heeft mij bijles gegeven in Indesign, Photoshop en Illustrator. Ze is heel enthousiast en geeft duidelijke uitleg. Ze heeft heel veel kennis over de programma’s en ze heeft me hiermee heel goed geholpen met het begrijpen van de basis. Onder andere door haar ben ik verder vooruit gegaan in deze programma’s en heb ik mooie resultaten op school gehaald. Als je moeite hebt met Indesign of een van deze programma’s zou ik haar zeker aanraden!

Esmee is een leuke studente! Werkt hard, en luistert goed naar mijn aanwijzingen en past ze direct toe. We hebben samen gewerkt aan een project voor haar studie. Ze heeft veel stappen gemaakt en dingen snel op gepikt. Ook werkte ze hard in de tussentijd aan haar project. Ik ben erg tevreden over Esmee en het het resultaat. Ze is flexibel met de lestijden en een erg lieve en leuke studente! Ik hoop dat ze nog veel wilt leren bij mij!

Every student is expected to have a license on these (required) programs so that we can proceed immediately.
Students can rent these programs at a discount on; (concealed information)
If you are not a student, you can purchase the license at: (concealed information)

I would like a public transport reimbursement if I have to come home for an appointment. I live in Rotterdam myself. If I have to travel further than 30 minutes, it would be nice if I could be reimbursed an extra 10 euros for the way there and back.

You can cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment starts. If this does not happen, I will charge 75% of the costs of the lesson, excluding travel costs. With proper consultation and for good reason it is always possible to reschedule or cancel a lesson.
