Constructivist Approach to teaching: I help students actively build their own understanding, rather than passively receiving information.
Lesson Plan:
Review (5-10 min): Review previous lesson's key concepts and homework to consolidate learning.
Introduction (10 min): Introduce the new topic through a hook, such as a real-world problem or interactive simulation.
Active Teaching (15-20 min): Interactive instruction, where I explain the concept, but ask questions to keep the student engaged.
Guided Practice (15 min): Student solves problems with guidance and immediate feedback to identify misconceptions early.
Wrap-up & Goal Setting (5-10 min): Review key takeaways, summarize the session, and set goals for the next session.
