About Lauren
I have always believed that great teaching comes from patience, dedication, and a genuine love for helping others learn. With 20 years of experience teaching flute, I have worked with school and college students at different learning levels. My lessons focus on breathing control, posture, rhythm, finger coordination, scales, articulation, and tone quality.
Every class is adapted to the student's needs so they can progress with confidence. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students develop the courage to perform and enjoy sharing their music with others.
Besides flute, I teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, rhythm exercises, and performance preparation. My mission is to help every student build lasting musical skills and confidence.

My goal is to make flute learning enjoyable while helping students build confidence and strong musical skills. My teaching approach is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity.
Every lesson is personalised according to the student's needs. Students learn breathing techniques, posture, note reading, rhythm, tone production, finger exercises, scales, articulation, and expressive performance through regular guided practice.
Motivation encourages students to practise consistently and enjoy every improvement. Communication allows students to understand concepts through simple explanations and demonstrations. Integrity helps me create a supportive learning environment where every student feels respected.
Creative activities include familiar songs, rhythm games, improvisation, listening exercises, duet practice, and music appreciation. Along with flute, I teach recorder, beginner keyboard, music theory, sight reading, ear training, and stage performance.
