About Clinton
Earning my MMus from Yale School of Music provided the rigorous training I use to guide my 284 students today. Performance requires total mental clarity.
I teach you how to integrate jazz improvisation with memorization techniques so that you never feel lost on stage. My background involves formal piano study through diploma level, which helps me explain hand independence and pedaling technique clearly. I have spent 13 years refining these methods, often working with students who need to balance rhythm and timing alongside sight playing for their upcoming ABRSM or Trinity exams.
