I am currently a Master's student in Anatomical Sciences Education at the University of Ottawa, with a strong passion for both anatomy and teaching! My academic background has given me a deep understanding of human anatomy, while my training in education has shaped how I effectively transfer complex knowledge in a clear and approachable way.
I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in anatomy by breaking down challenging concepts into manageable, logical steps. My goal is to not just help students memorize information, but to ensure they truly understand and can apply what they learn.

Anatomy is a challenging and highly structured subject, which is why I focus on building a strong foundation before moving into more detailed concepts. My teaching approach emphasizes visual and auditory learning, highlighting key anatomical features and reinforcing essential terminology to support retention.
I frequently use the teach-back method, where students will explain a concept back to me in their own words after initial instruction. This ensures true understanding and allows us to quickly correct any gaps. Lessons are interactive, paced to the student, and always open to questions and discussion.
A typical lesson begins with an overview of a body system or topic and gradually progresses into finer details and complex nomenclature.
My lessons are suitable for students at any level who are required to take anatomy or who are simply interested in learning. I tailor each session to the student's course requirements, academic level, and learning goals.
