Not only do I have the educational qualifications to teach including a Masters Degree in "Applied Linguistics" from the University of Massachusetts and a TEFL (Teacher of English as a Foreign Language) Certificate from American English Programs, but I have taught English overseas as well as in the American classroom to students from a multitude of countries and continents including Asia, all of the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
I was born and raised in the USA spending most of my years in the Boston and greater Los Angeles areas.
I have worked as a professional in Administrative positions for several American businesses.
I am smart, relaxed, and focus on conversation using the Whole Language Approach. I always correct global errors and also correct basic grammatical and pronunciation errors delicately so that it does not interfere with the goal of fluency so you are aware of where you need improvement. My goal is to make you proficient quickly, meeting you wherever you are at.
I will not waste your time with basic exercises you can find and complete yourself online and with books. I am a real person who is very excited to get to know you and help you master American English.
