About Shivani
Hello! I’m Shivani, a Civil Engineering graduate with a first class Master’s degree from Swansea University (2019). I studied Maths at GCSE, A-Level, and AS Further Maths, and I’m passionate about helping students of all ages feel more confident in their abilities. I want to teach because I know how overwhelming maths can feel at times, but with the right guidance, it really is doable. My goal is to make maths easier to understand by breaking problems down clearly and supporting you step by step, so you can build confidence and start to believe in your own potential. Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for exams, I’m here to help you progress and achieve what you’re capable of.

My approach is personalised as I adapt each lesson to the student’s needs, tackling problems step by step and making sure they fully understand before moving on. I take the time to explain concepts clearly and methodically, breaking down even the most challenging topics into manageable parts. I am professional and approachable, which helps build confidence and reduces anxiety around maths. My goal isn’t just to improve grades, but to help students genuinely understand and feel more confident in their abilities.
