About Ekta
I have a degree in Medical Biochemistry and have spent the past seven years working as a scientist in the field of oncology. During that time, I developed a strong ability to explain complex scientific ideas to different audiences — whether that was colleagues from other departments or new team members. I realised I really enjoy the process of helping others understand science, which is what inspired me to move into tutoring. I'm particularly passionate about biology and chemistry, and I find it rewarding to break down challenging topics in ways that are engaging and easy to grasp. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by playing badminton and going for walks. I also love playing the piano, which helps me relax and stay creative. Baking is another hobby of mine — I find it rewarding to experiment with new recipes and share homemade treats with friends and family.
