About Tammy
Every child deserves some one-on-one support in order to express what they already know and what they can do with this knowledge to grow. I believe in all students and start from where they are. Listening to math podcasts, conferring with math coaches and using my own past teaching experiences is the reason I can support any child.

I enjoy watching students learn and grow by doing! I believe in using strategies to solve. I promote thinking and discussions along with problem solving. I also include families in the learning process where possible. I build upon each lesson with “I can statements.” I show children how to use prior knowledge to try new things.
