I make sure to get to know the student first, understand their hopes and fears, and let them know they can be open and honest with me. I want to create a friendly, fun environment, then once I understand the student's requirements, and start to see how they learn, I can make real progress.
We will try to get to the root issues, create a plan to solve these, and work through them together!

Would definitely recommend Rory. He’s very attentive to each person's personal learning requirements and ensures they feel comfortable with what they are working towards. Really lovely person and easy to get along with!
Rory is an ex-colleague at Jaguar Land Rover, I have known him for years. He’s an all-round great person, very intelligent and articulates well. He has a very hands-on approach to his tutoring, for example, he can explain a topic in many different ways until the tutee has a firm grasp of it. Rory tends to give a high-level overview first so that the tutee has an idea of the significance of the topic in industry and then really dives down into the details.
