About Jonah
I have more than five years' experience tutoring maths and physics to students at KS3, GCSE, A-level and undergraduate levels. I hold a Master's degree in Engineering with a background in scientific research. My familiarity with maths at a high level means I can teach with an eye to how the material develops, so students can build understanding that serves them beyond their current syllabus.

Being successful in Maths and Physics, at any level from GCSE to A-level and beyond, is all about having the tools to solve problems and the familiarity and confidence to know when to use them. When you sit down in an exam and see a question, you should know exactly how to approach it.
I also pay close attention to the foundations - mathematical concepts build on top of one another, so small gaps in understanding accumulated over time can cause real problems. That being said, the material is always oriented towards the goals of the student; if your exam is in three weeks' time, we'll focus on getting you prepared for that.
I primarily teach Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-level, with familiarity across all UK exam boards. Sessions will typically last for one hour, but if it's revision season and you need more support, longer sessions are no problem.
I can also offer support in undergraduate maths for various subjects. If you're unsure whether I'm the right fit for your level or goals, feel free to reach out.
