About Rachel
I have a degree in politics, journalism and creative writing. Additionally, I have seven highers (AAAABBB), including Maths (B), English (A) and Modern Studies (A). I have experience working in academic health research and journalism. I have also worked in communications. I am currently undertaking a masters degree in creative writing with interdisciplinary English.

My teaching methodology is to work around the student's strengths and weaknesses whilst giving them critical thinking skills.
I base my teaching around the Scottish Qualification system and believe in the use of past papers to create an effective strategy for exams.
For university-level students, I will provide proofreading and feedback on your approach to essay writing and provide guidance on academic writing.
I work with the student to develop a learning plan that works towards their goals.
