About Olivia
Hey!
I recently graduated from university with a Distinction in the MSc Genomic Medicine. Ive previously graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Science and my A Levels were Biology, Chemistry and Psychology.
At the moment, I'm studying to take the GAMSAT exam which requires me to know first year degree level biology and chemistry and A Level Physics and English. I haven't tutored before, however, you can be confident in my level of commitment (since I am refreshing my knowledge in these subjects myself in my spare time!).

Personally, I find the best results always come from working on the topics I dislike the most or find most challenging. In the past, when I've been tackling these tricky topics (especially at degree level), I've found the best technique is ALWAYS having a really strong foundation in the basics. For example, I could spend hours researching the intricate details of a particular gene, however, I first make sure I develop an overview of the topic or simply understand the basic function of the gene. Knowing the basics allows you to put the small details into context.
Therefore, my main teaching methodology will be based off of your own self-awareness. I would like us to work together to find out your personal strengths and weaknesses within a subject. Once we have identified these we can use this to tailor the learning to you. Let's approach your weakest topics with confidence. No one knows you better than you, and this can work to your advantage!
