About Amal
I’m Amal, an engineering graduate with a master’s degree in Lasers and Photonics and a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I’ve always loved exploring maths, physics, and chemistry, and I enjoy helping others see how these subjects make sense in the real world. I explain topics step by step and use simple examples to make complex ideas easier to understand. My lessons are patient, structured, and focused on helping students feel confident in their problem-solving skills. I teach KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students, and I aim to make every session engaging, clear, and rewarding. My goal is to help students not just improve their grades, but also enjoy learning and feel confident in their abilities.

I focus on helping students understand the logic behind science and maths, not just memorise formulae. I break topics into small, simple ideas and connect them with real-world examples so they actually make sense. Once that foundation is strong, I guide students through problem-solving and exam-style questions to build accuracy and confidence. My lessons usually last one hour, but I adjust the pace based on the student’s level and attention span. I teach Physics, Chemistry, and Maths for GCSE and A-Level students, as well as general science for younger learners (KS3). I hold a Master’s degree in Lasers and Photonics from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from VIT Vellore, India. My academic experience taught me to explain complex topics clearly and patiently, which is the same approach I bring to tutoring. My goal is simple — to help students gain confidence, improve their results, and start seeing science as something they can genuinely enjoy.
